true 3.5 touch plus V0.9 unlock

Android - Ranked in order below are our reviews of what we consider to be the best budget phones on sale right now. We've based this chart on the SIM-free price as contracts change so often. Do note that we've included only the phones for which we've completed our full benchmarking, which explains why the new Moto G6 Play is not yet included. You can check out our hands-on review here. great that Samsung continues, well we have collected a lot of data from the field directly and from many other blogs so very complete his discussion here about Android, on this blog we also have to provide the latest automotive information from all the brands associated with the automobile. ok please continue reading:

We’ve got a bunch of new updates to share with you all. We’re keeping the momentum going this week with a swath of new enhancements that both tighten up the backend and bring some new goodies to the user experience.

Here’s the latest Download:

What’s Up with Touchless Control - Hands tied? Our latest update to Touchless Control introduces a new convenient command: Just say “OK Google Now, What’s up?”—your phone will read aloud your latest notifications.

Migrate What You Want - Our Motorola Migrate app has been a hit for users transferring their information from their old phone to their new Moto X, Moto G, or Droid phones. But we heard from some people that it would be even more useful if they could select what content to transfer. With this update, we’ve made this possible for users moving from an old Android phone to choose what kind of content they want to migrate. This update also automatically imports SIM contacts to your preferred Google account and makes it easier to transfer the content you want if your old phone’s content is bigger than your new phone’s available memory (nothing like a little early Spring cleaning!).

Getting Smart with SIMs - Here’s a little treat for users in Latin America and New York who have Moto G that supports dual SIMs: With the latest KitKat upgrade, we’ve included a new feature called Automatic SIM Selection. If you typically select the SIM for every outgoing call, this feature will suggest the preferred SIM to use based on the one that you’ve used to call friends in the past. Moto G users with dual SIMs can simply switch the feature on in their Settings. For more information, check out the FAQs.

Customize Your Active Display - Active Display quietly displays what you need to know with just a touch—and with this update you can now enable and disable notification vibrations using your phone’s Sound settings. Also, did you know that you can control which apps send notifications to Active Display? Just go to Settings > Active Display to choose what apps are important enough to you.

An Enhanced Assist - Motorola Assist—which recognizes when you shouldn’t be bothered and helps you out while you’re driving—now works even smarter to adapt to your working style in meetings. This update allows you to block off personal time in your calendar but still take calls. We’ve also made an important enhancements in Bluetooth connectivity that allow even more users to integrate Assist with their car’s built-in Bluetooth carkit.

We’re continuing to sprint after these evolutions, quickly innovating on both user-facing experience and backend technologies. Please let us know what you think of our latest on Google+, Twitter, and Facebook.

Last year, on October 29th, we introduced the world to a mouse, a hat and a little windy trouble brought to life by immersive storytelling technology. That was the first Spotlight Story. It was called Windy Day.

Ready for another story? It might be the same forest, but things are definitely different once the sun goes down.

Continuing our work with award-winning storytellers, Buggy Night was directed by veteran animator Mark Oftedal along with much of the Windy Day team, including Caldecott winning illustrator and writer Jon Klassen and Academy award-winning producer Karen Dufilho-Rosen.

With each Spotlight Story we’re uncovering more ground -- both technologically and creatively. We’re continuing to explore novel storytelling possibilities for mobile. Possibilities that are revealed when mobile is considered a true medium, rather than just a smaller screen. We’re finding out what happens at the intersection of hardware, software, and content.

Technologically, Buggy Night takes interactivity and immersiveness to the next level. For this story, we created seamless interactivity by leveraging Android 4.4 KitKat graphics capabilities applied to a true 360-degree environment. Creatively, this meant that we had to tell a story that unfolds where you choose to look -- and where you don’t.

Keep an eye on your Moto X and see what happens when your phone catches the latest Spotlight bug going around.

If you missed our first Spotlight Story, Windy Day, you can check it out in the new Library section of Spotlight Player. And to keep up to date on all things Spotlight Stories, follow our Tumblr or join our Google+ Community.

Its a well known fact that apart from the traditional Bluetooth way of sharing files between two mobile devices, smartphones have the added advantage of sharing content using the Wifi technology. Many apps are today available in the market to help you utilise this facility, but none can match the robustness and ease of use that Software Data Cable offers.

As its name suggests, Software Data Cable facilitates sending and recieving any kind of files between two smartphones, a smartphone and a PC as you can with a physical data cable. The only difference is that with Software Data Cable, you share wirelessly. And wait, its price couldn't be better - its free ! :D

Share files seamlessly between your smartphone and PC

With this app, sharing files wirelessly between your PC and smartphone becomes as easy as simple copy and paste. Just open up the app, tap the 'Sync PC' button and join a wifi network (or create one). Then on your PC just connect to the existing WiFi network (or the newly created one). Fire up Windows Explorer and type in the FTP address this app provides you with in the address bar. The ftp address is usually this - ftp://192.168.43.1:8888/ . Press Enter. You are ready to copy files as you normally would.

PC sync functionality
Share files at lightning fast speeds between Android smartphones

As with PC, smartphone to smartphone file sharing can also be carried out at lightning fast speeds. The speeds can also reach upto 7 mbps, which is way more than the traditional bluetooth way of data sharing between smartphones.

To share files with another smartphone, this app needs to be installed on the other phone as well as yours. Just tap "Sync Phone' option. It will prompt whether you want to create a network or join a network. Tap 'Create a direct push network'. Ask your colleague to do the same steps as above except that he/she 'Joins the Direct push Network'. Now go to the storage area and click on the files you want to share. Tap "Direct Push'. The file gets shared at amazingly fast speeds.

One user creates the direct push network while the other user Joins it
Its also possible to connect with multiple smartphone users at the same time and share one file with everyone.

So, the next time you need to share large files between your fellow colleagues, bid adieu to the old school bluetooth and say hello to Software Data Cable, the Wifi way !

Here’s a not-so-secret, early Easter egg for you: This week, we’re celebrating 50 app updates since we released Moto X!

That’s 50 updates across more than 15 different apps and services in just 8 months. These have included enhancements like new Touchless Control commands, texts read aloud while driving, new boot animations, a redesigned gallery, and, of course, squashed bugs. It’s been a crazy but exciting road to travel, all in the name of continuously delivering to our users fast updates on top of the latest and greatest Android version.

To commemorate, I am hosting a G+ Hangout on Air next week Wednesday during which you can ask me anything you’d like to know about our software and share your feedback on how we can make products better for you.

We think it’s the perfect way to mark the occasion. Why?
  • The heart of everything we do in software is you, the user. So, of course you need to be a part of the festivities.
  • Listening is a key part of our product development. And we want to hear what you have to say! We listen to your feedback as we hone innovations, to make them the most useful to you.
  • What better way to thank you for your support than over Hangout? So we can say thank you face to face.
RSVP to our event here, and start asking your questions on my Google+ page or on our Motorola Facebook, G+, or Twitter using the hashtag #askMoto.

Chimera Tool Samsung v 10.36.1559 News

Android2.3
1. Make it less chatty
Your Android has a lot of communicative function which should be turned off when not in use. These includes WiFi, Bluetooth NFC and -the major culprit -GPS.
You can turn these off/on by swiping down from the top of your main screen and then tapping the upper right icon.
This brings up a list of services you can toggle, we have to turn off Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and NFC, since we don't need these routinely. Wi-Fi only comes in handy when I'm home or at a location I know has decent hassle free Wi-Fi (although it can also be used for Location Services when you're out and about).
We all know how to use airplane mode to save battery life, but it's also worth considering whether you should set this if you know you won't need your smartphone for at least an hour -say, a company meeting or a session at the gym.

2. Turn on power saving mode

Power saving mode is a samsung feature which controls CPU and screen power as well as "haptic feedback" which uses vibrations to signal that a specific function has been utilized. You can turn it on and configure it by swiping down from your home screen and then choosing the "setting" icon (which resembles a gear).
After that you will see the list of available settings then Scroll down the list until you see "power saving mode" and set it to "on".
Then tap "Power saving mode" to review and configure the options:
Check CPU power saving box.
Check Screen power saving box.
Check Turn off haptic feedback box.
I recommended checking all three options to get the most out of power saving mode but you can pick and choose according to your preferences.

3. Tune your display

You can adjust your display even further to preserve your battery. The brightness can be lowered if you turn off the the "Automatic brightness" option, which I did because I found it worked inconsistently.
Access "setting" then scroll down to select "Display".
Tap "brightness".
Uncheck "Automatic brightness", then manually adjust the brightness level to comfortable level., then tap "OK".
You should also set screen timeout (when the screen will dim after inactivity) for the level that works best for you. Under "setting" go to "Accessibility".
If you access "Screen timeout" you can choose between 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minutes or 10 minutes. You don't want the screen to dim when you still need it since that will just cause aggravation, but perhaps you can experiment to find a good balance here. Note the "Smart Stay" function can help prevent unwanted screen timeouts since it detects when you're using the phone.

4. Tweak your apps

Many applications are demanding resource hogs so you should always be aware of which ones are running and decide whether they really need to be doing so. This is nothing new, of course - many Windows programs I've come across insist on starting up with your computer when they really don't need to do so (Adobe is famous for this).
You can review which apps are running by accessing "Settings" then "Battery.
You can tap each app or service to get more information. In my case, the Android OS and Google Play are both taking up a percentage of my battery. However, I can't do much about that since they're both integral to my device; there isn't an option to disable to these. If I tap"Google Play Services" I see the detail of "Google Play Services".
Note the fact "Force stop": Some apps can be stopped here. If there are apps you don't want running and you can "force stop them. This service is connecting my smartphone to my corporate email server so I don't want to use the "Force stop" option, but if it were a game or other program taking up to much battery life I might choose that option.
It's not enough just to stop apps - you also need to go through your " Application Manager" (You know the drill; this is located under "Settings") and remove any apps you don't need.
To remove any app just tap it and then choose "Uninstall" (note you can also "Force stop" here).
You can use this information to decide, in the word of kenny Rogers, What to throw away or what to keep.

5. Adjust your device functions

My smartphone comes with some interesting options, but I don't use all of them. In these options I turned off "Screen Mirroring" and "Multi-window" since I don't use those. I also have the phone set to "Mute" and toggle that with "Sound" - I don't use vibrate since I find that unnecessary.
There are more places you can shut off settings you don't need . If you access "Motion" under "Settings" then turn off anything you don't think you'll use - in fact, go through all possible settings since you might cut down on resource usage and also find some cool features you might not know about (which may not help you reduce battery life if you turn them on, however!).

6. Reduce your dependency on cloud access

Ah, the cloud, the cloud, the cloud. It handles our backups, it syncs our documents and information. It also requires lot of bandwidth and makes our devices go the extra mile when everything we own data-wise resides in the cloud. I love my Dropbox account, but it can chew up battery life on my Droid since it has to download stuff I access. You can set it to sync only while your Android is using Wi-Fi (Dropbox, "settings"; "How to upload") but another good option is to store all files locally if you can so you can reduce the amount of back-and-forth needed by pulling data down from the cloud.
I have a lot of PDF files I read on my devices, so if I set them as a "Favorite" in Dropbox they will be downloaded to my device where I can open them directly.

7. Watch your multimedia use

Music and videos are the best ways I know to drain a battery. It's cool that smartphones can do this stuff but I find myself very conservative with my multimedia use. I use a Blackberry as an MP3 Player when I want use multimedia, for instance, since it works fine for my purposes and I don't have to run down the battery on my Android.
Consider a cheap music player to carry on the side if you just need something to listen to. If you're on a coast-to-coast flight and don't care whether you run your battery down watching a movie on your device, far be it from me to stop you, but if you need your device to communicate with the outside world (such as on a camping trip) I'd skip the entertainment.

8. Get apps for Android

There are apps available to help you manage resources and battery life on your Android. I'll admit I was skeptical about this at first since I recall similar program in the past which ran on windows and claimed to optimize your RAM registry(but I never observed any noticeable benefit). However, the ones I've tried have some bona fide merit.

Cleanmaster is one such free example and JuiceDefender is another(the latter has both a free and paid version available.

Conclusion

This way we can boost Android Battery.

Windows phone user's can read my article for Windows phone.

Whether you are an average user or a novice Android developer or an Android guru, there are great Android forums available online to discuss! These discussions might range from adding customisations to your android device, developing new applications, reviewing new apps or average how-tos and to-dos. These top android forums on the web bring together a community of android users and developers who then collectively solve issues.

As most of these forums are associated with their respective blogs, you can keep abreast with the latest happenings in the world of android by subscribing to their feeds too. Following are some of the top android forums on the web which also happen to be the most friendly ones :)

XDA Developers

Started in January 2003 initially as a forum solely for developers, XDA Developers has quickly grown into the largest forum for both android users and developers and also the most respected one. XDA community has over 5 million users worldwide and also consists of Windows app developers though primarily being known for android. Discussions here vary from adding customisations to new functionalities. No wonder XDA Developers have made it to top android forums list.

Android Forums aka Phandroid

Android Forums is associated with renowned tech blog Phandroid. You will find solutions to most of the common issues here as this forum is well considered to be one of the most active ones. It has very broad set of handset specific twerks and tweaks. The forum's interface is quite minimalist compared to others like XDA Developers. The heap of android goodness over this forum helps it make it to the top android forums list.

Android Central

Android Central makes it very easy for average users to get started with android customisations straightaway. Android Central has quite a happening community forum where you can be sure of getting your doubts cleared in no time. Modern look of the forum only makes it more attractive and appealing.

Android Developers Google Group

The Android developers google group is a must have for people looking to code apps. It has a large knowledge base which also gives us an idea of what's in store for android next. Plus, if you're searching for answers to queries simple or complex, Android developers google group will work for you. The tons of high quality information available here makes this ordinary google group one of the handful top android forums.

Android Development Community | Anddev

The Anddev forum has tons of info about android hacks and development. Though the forum is fast losing its sheen as it is one of the least active forums on this list, which makes it less suitable for posting new queries. I hope this forum bounces back to activity.

Android Forum | Android.Net

 Android.Net top android forums

The Android.Net forum has a wide array of topics covered related to common android tweaks. It looks basic but believe me, it has got some advanced shit explored ! I specifically liked a different section for Android graphics and a different one for audio. I couldn't find this type of classification anywhere else.

AndroidPIT

AndroidPIT is relatively small compared to the other forums listed above but what works for this forum is that it is quite active. This forum lays more emphasis on app development rather than common android problems. Though, I am sure this forum will solve most of the common queries faced by android users.

DroidForums

Just like others, DroidForums strives to solve users problems through collective effort. It has been doing this since 2009 and it is quite popular too. Another good forum to register.

It is universally acknowledged that being active in the forums is one of the best ways to keep pace with the advancements in the tech world. Apart from these top android forums, there are plenty of other android forums available online (just google'em!). I created this list because I could find the above ones more than sufficient for solving my questions. With such a huge community at its support, No wonder android has bright future! If you feel more forums can be added to this post then feel free to share links in the comment section below! Taadaa!

If you are an Android fanatic like me, this article is a treat for you, but if you're a hater, this might very well change your perception about the world's most successful mobile OS. Android ! :)

The future in my vision is pure Android. Unlike the way Android is perceived today as being a mere smartphone and tablet operating system, in future Android would be seen at places that it can't be imagined at present. Trust me, when you'll read about where Android is used at present, you'll only be amazed! Then there are no bounds to Android's future use.

Imagine waking up in the morning and checking all your notifications, the weather forecast, mails and read news at a single glance. What's special? You do it all the time on your smartphone? Now imagine doing it on a mirror installed just above your wash basin ! Yes, Japanese company Seraku's Android powered wash basin lets you do just that ! The wash basin consists of a mirror which along with reflecting your beautiful just outta bed look (pun intended!) also couples up as an android screen! Just some gestures and you stay updated of the world's latest happenings before you even brush your teeth. Pretty awesome, huh?

If you think wash basin is indeed a less respectful place for such a robust OS to belong (lol), there is some more news! The Samsung T9000 is one frigging refrigerator awesomely powered by Android (yay!). It boasts of a led screen on its exterior which gives you access to the fridge's controls and also lets you use the Android OS. Food + Android, who would have thought of this deadly combination even a couple of years back !

Ever imagined your fridge sending you notifications about what food items you need to buy on your smartphone? Or may be it will send you a list of glossary items you need to buy via Evernote. No end to possibilities dude, you become the smartest guy on this planet !

Android is being fitted even in your car stereo systems. The Parrot Asteroid makes your car stereo, GPS Navigation and Car to Car communication system into one. Just by bundling all these facilities in a android device ! Well Car to car near field communication does sound pretty interesting indeed !

The traditional TV set at your home might have to be thrown straightaway. Attention bitches, Android TV is here! Television content will be amazingly clubbed in tile formats and more emphasis will be on the content rather than the TV channels. Streaming of web shows and imagine YouTube becoming a drawing room hit ! This is all possible as Google has already announced launching of Android powered TV's with its partners like LG.

Android smartwatches are definitely replacing your old analog ones. Android wearables are already on their way to become smash hits among users. Android wearables also couple up as your very own fitness assistants - by notifying you about your pulse rates, calories burnt and storing them over cloud. There are an infinite number of ways by which you can benefit !

Apart from these I see so many developers discussing wild fantasies of future Android possibilities on top android forums. If the Android guys keep developing at the pace at which they already are, the future of Android seems to me even brighter than the sun. Android shall be seen happily working at places like set top boxes, home automation systems, rear view mirrors, toys, big enterprises and ofcourse the smartphones (duh -_-). This is gonna be fun folks !

Fire up any file manager on your Android phone and explore your SD card. One folder you are sure to discover is the LOST.DIR. What is the folder for? Its quite evident that there is no application named LOST.DIR installed on your device. At times the folder's size can range in gigabytes. In such situations one may wonder about the contents of the folder and its use, and whether it is safe to delete the folder to save memory. I found a lot of confusion about the LOST.DIR directory on almost all top android forums so I decided to write this post. This post strives to clear some air.

[ See also : Top Android Forums for Users and Developers ]

The LOST.DIR directory marked in red.
What is LOST.DIR ?

The Lost.dir is a system folder. Its a place where the Android OS places files that were recovered during a system boot up (ie when you turn on your phone). It is analogous to the 'Recycle Bin' under Windows OS. The files which are stored inside this directory are often recoverable. Most of the times you won't find anything at all in LOST.DIR directory.

What files are stored in LOST.DIR ?

If you were saving files and suddenly the phone turned off, or maybe you pull the SD card out when files were being written to it - the Android system places copies of those files in LOST.DIR directory so it can try and recover them on the next boot (next time the system starts up). The files in the process of copying are also renamed. So if you find wierdely named files in the folder, don't be surprised as they are only renamed versions of erstwhile files present on your device.
Files may end up stored in LOST.DIR folder due to following reasons :

  • Abruptly pulling out SD card from Android phone
  • Interruptions while downloading files on Android device
  • Sudden freezing of Android device operating system
  • Switching off the device while some read-write process is carrying on.
How do I recover files from LOST.DIR folder?

In order to stop permanent loss of files from LOST.DIR folder in Android, you have to quickly recover missing files before your Android smartphone memory space is overwritten by some new data. Therefore use of some pertinent LOST.DIR Android recovery tool is recommended. Yodot Android Data Recover, Recuva are a couple of examples which worked for me.

Can I delete the contents of LOST.DIR ?

In order to save precious memory space its completely normal to delete the contents of LOST.DIR as it only acts as a recycle bin. You can also delete the LOST.DIR folder itself but it will reappear the next time the system boots up. When your Android system throws up a message saying 'Preparing external SD card' its actually checking the contents of LOST.DIR, and if it fails to locate the directory, it creates one.

Necessary Guidelines :
  • Avoid abrupt removal of Android device's memory card while transferring data to/from the system.
  • Backup your images or other files to some other device.
  • Use authentic android antivirus software to protect yourself from virus-attack.

Android 4.5
Google's next version of its mobile operating system - Android 4.5 (Lollipop)
Google's next version of mobile operating system is fulfilled with lot of  mind blowing features which changing the way to interact with you. Google's annual developer conference is set to take place on 25 and 26 june and along with updates on Google Glass, much more about smartwatches  and Android Wear, along with a possible Nexus 8 tablet, we expect to see the latest version of company's Android software unveiled.

The current version of Google's operating system is Android 4.4, known as KitKat thanks to a commercial tie-up with Nestle, which was launched in September of last year.

Until now, Google has been relatively happy with manufacturers like Samsung, Sony and HTC to do what they liked with Android, skinning it with their own proprietary software - but things have changed in the last eight months.

Google's 10-year cross licensing patent deal with Samsung shows that Google wants to have some control over what Android's biggest player does with its software, while Google's insistence on having "Powered by Android" show up on the boot screen of new phones shows the company wants to remind people just who created the world's most popular mobile operating system.

So what next for Google?

Here we look at some of the features expected to be included in the Android 4.5 update, but first a word about Android 4.4.3

Android 4.4.3: Swatting bugs

The most recent version of Android is 4.4.2 but before Google's launches Android 4.5, it is widely expected to push out the android 4.4.3 update. However those hoping for a slew of new features will be disappointed, as it will mostly fix bugs in the current version.

Android Police has detailed all the fixes coming with Android 4.4.3 with the most interesting for Nexus 5 users a fix for a camera focus issue, along with improvements to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Android 4.5: What's in a name

As most of you will know, Google likes to name its major Android updates after sweet treats - and in alphabetical order - which is why we can narrow down the codename of Android 4.5 to a few choices.

The most obvious and the one rumored to be in use
  • Android Lemon MeringuePie
  • Android Layer Cake
  • Android Lamington
or our favorite....
  • Android Ladyfingers

Android 4.5: Wearables

Google showed its hands last two month for its plans of wearables.  Android wear is the specific version of its mobile software designed to run on smartwatches initially, but likely on the range of wearable tech in year to come.

With the consumer version of Google Glass also thought to be mentioned at Google I/O this June, it is clear that any new version of Android will need to integrate tightly with these devices.

An Android Wear app is likely to be unveiled to allow you to monitor all devices connected to your smartphone or tablet, and alter how the connect and how often.

How these devices pair with your smartphone and possibly use its data connection will have to be handled properly so as not to drain the battery life of your phone and/or your monthly data allowance.

Android 4.5: More Google Now

Google Now, the intelligent personal assistant for Android, was introduce in 2012 and in the two years since as grown and evolved to become one of the most important parts of Google's Operating System.

It's influence however is best seen on devices like the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7, along with the Moto G and Moto X, all of which run practically pure version of Android, where Google Now is at the heart of the interface.

Windows phone 8.1 Voice-Avtivated personal assistant
Windows phone 8.1 Voice-Avtivated personal assistant
Google will want this influence to extend to other devices from the like of Samsung and Sony by making it even more integral to how the software operates.

Google Now also needs to expand in terms of the services it supports, which currently include sports, public transport, meetings and stocks.
With Apple's Siri already offering a more human interface, and Microsoft's up-coming Cortana voice-activated personal assistant set to offer something similar, we also expect to see Google making Google Now more personal and possibly unveil it's own AI personal assistant.

Android 4.5: Security

Android and Security are not words that go hand-in-hand. While Google has improved the security of its software enormously in recent years, it is still seen as a very vulnerable platform.

Therefore we expect to see a two-pronged improvement in Android 4.5.

The first and most important, is Google Play. The vast majority of mobile malware targets the Android OS, and while most of that is found in third-party app stores, there is a lot of app to be found in the official Google Play Store and that is why Google need to make its app selection system more rigorous, as well as responding faster to complaints from users and developers

The second way we expect to see Android security is improved in device security, and this means Android being able to handle data from fingerprint sensor natively, as well as potentially revisiting  Face Unlock, to make it more robust and actually useful.

Android 4.5: Better Battery Life  .

While this is in some ways up to the device manufacturers to implement, Google plays an important role too.

Better battery life is one important thing which we see in my previous post to read this post click here, it consistently tops the list of what smartphone users want from a new device, and the initial move to the ART run-time in Android 4.4 should be fully implemented in Android 4.5 and thereby significantly improve battery life.

Android 4.5: Nexus 6 or Nexus 8

Nexus 8
Is this the Google Nexus 8?
Traditionally Google has launched new Nexus hardware alongside new versions of Android , but recent reports suggest Google could be ready to ditch the program altogether.

It seems odd however that after the success of the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 devices with LG, Google would ditch the Nexus program entirely.

However the complete lack of leaks surrounding a Nexus 6  could indicate that this is indeed the case - though it could also indicate that the next Nexus smartphone won't be launching until much later in the year, just like the previous two models.
What is more likely is the launch of the Nexus 8, a new tablet with a slightly larger screen than the Nexus 7. A device which could be the Nexus 8 first made an appearance in a promotion Google video last year, and has since been tipped for launch at Google I/O.

Well there is nothing to worry about that, I have some tips for you to keep your Android Smartphone Running like a new one. Follow these tip to get better performance and for smooth handling.

1. Home screen of your Android phone

greatthatsamsungcontinues.blogspot.comIn case of computers, this is clearly know fact that having a lots of files or folders on desktop surely slows down your system. The same fact is for your Smartphone homepage, more you cramp it up with widget and icons, slower it becomes.

Putting too many unnecessary icons and widget on your smartphone homepage not only slows it down but also affect on the battery life of your smartphone and it is advisable that you review your phone's home screen every now and then to keep the minimum icon and widgets. If you are facing battery backup problem then read my article http://greatthatsamsungcontinues.blogspot.com /2014/05/boost-android-battery.html" style="color: blue;" target="_blank">tips to improve battery life of Android Phone.

Note: keep minimum icons and widgets on your home screen.

 2. Mobile services in your Smart phone

Many times we have to switch on some services like Wi-Fi, GPS, Mobile Data and Bluetooth and forget to disconnect or turn off these services after using them.If you kept on these services then it can hamper the Smartphone's performance drastically and drain the battery rapidly.

My suggestion is that always turn of these services after using them. However, if you fail to keep track of these thing or find it hard to remember to turn off these services , apps are available on the Google Store that can take care of such a small but trivial issues.

Note: Turn off the services of your Android phone rapidly after use.

3. Browser Caches and Cookies of your Android Phone.

When you're surfing internet on your Smartphone, a lot of data stored in the phone's active memory. The cache's memory clogging up the active memory of device and slows down its ability to surf.

Your Smartphone also has a ability to storing cookies. You may not realize it, but cookies can hinder the ability to browse internet quickly. Clear the caches and cookies at regular intervals, depending on your usage.

Note: Clear out the browser cache and cookies on regular intervals of time to free up the memory space.

 4. Software and Apps in your Smartphone

Smartphone users are notorious for installing lots and lots of apps, even if they do not use them at all or they all perform a same task. There must be some old apps on your phone that you haven't used from a long time and probably will not going to used it in the future either. There might be some apps that run constantly in the background, decreasing your phone's performance and speed and eating  up your battery life.

Review your apps and do away with the ones you are not using at all and use once in a blue moon. There could be some heavy apps that consume a lot of space and are a burden on your phone's memory and battery. Look for an alternative for these apps, and pickup something lighter than that app.. There may be a number of options out there, you only have to look.

Note: Uninstall some unused apps or find lighter app and give your phone some space to breathe.

 5. Reboot Your Smartphone

It's my advice to reboot your smartphone regularly and your phone is good as new. Rebooting closes all the apps and processes running in the background and helps in improving the performance of your Smartphone.

Rebooting your Smartphone is like a fresh morning to you, it not only replenishes your energy levels but also refreshes and rejuvenates your sense. Once you reboot your phone it is refreshed, free from error and automatically solve all significant issues.

Note: Reboot your daily or when you realize that it is slow, and run your phone like a brand new device.

6. Battery of Your Smartphone

Batteries performance usually  changes after a couple of years, probably you are annoyed with the battery by now. You can keep minimum screen brightness and timeout length to extend the battery life. Read more in my previous article http://greatthatsamsungcontinues.blogspot.com /2014/05/boost-android-battery.html" target="_blank">Tips to boost android battery life. Using airplane mode is also a good option to extend battery life, when you don't need your Smartphone, say in an office meeting or in college time. GPS requires more power. So, it's a good idea to turn of location services.

Remember is your phone's battery is low, the performance to goes for a toss, so it is always a good thing to keep your phone fully charged and avoid the unnecessary draining  the battery.

Note: Turn down your phone's communication systems when not required.

 7. Live Wallpapers on Home Screen

Android Smartphone

Live wallpapers are nice looks attractive with lot of fun, some uses them to impress their friend and some uses only for fun.

The bad is, Live Wallpapers are not good for your Smartphone, they decreases your phone's performance, they also drain lot off power rapidly due to which your battery backup goes down. They kill your battery by displaying bright images and demanding continuous resources from phone's processor and RAM, especially when your phone has becomes old and is already gives low performance. It only adds to your performance woes.

Note: Don't use live wallpapers, avoid them for faster and better performance and for good battery backup.

8. Clean Your Smartphone Periodically

Apart from these technical methods, make sure the screen and buttons are shiny. If you have mobile cover or case, it's good practice to take it off and give it a nice cleaning. My advice is always use flip cover because it protects your smartphone's screen as well as keep it safe.

There is no need of heave solvents, clean water should suffice. Besides, chemical and solvent might do more harm than benefit.

Although, You can try these tips to keep your android running like a new phone, still there is nothing that beats the performance of brand new phone as over the period of a time and usage, the hardware of your phone takes a beating too and may not perform like a brand new phone.

However you follow these tips right from the beginning, you can easily maintain your Android Phone to be as per with the brand new Android Phone.

So, I hope you read and like my article then don't hesitate to write in comments. If you have any problem related to mobile phone, then just write in comments to ask me, I will try my best to solve your problems.
